Changing Trends For Picture Frames?

With our extensive range of over 600 mouldings customers know our picture frames can transform any room reflecting the personality of its owner. As time moves on customer’s tastes change along with it, that’s why at eFrame we ensure that we’re always up to date with the current needs and demands of our customers.

Last year we introduced over 50 new mouldings to meet the current trends of that year. We introduced new mouldings that would have fitted beautifully in grand homes or more contemporary environments.

Along with the new mouldings we also introduced Swept frames to our website, Swept frames (also known as Decorative frames) are visually very lavish, wooden one piece frames. Available in five colours – gold, white, cream, black and dark brown, these are a must have addition for a variety of interiors.

Aptly named because of it’s broad range of colours, our Rainbow Collection was another success for eFrame last year. These mouldings are sure to put a smile on anyone’s face as they are bright and inviting. They are the type of frames that your children would love to have their favourite pictures and awards framed in. Not only that, with the current 80’s revisited fashion trend happening people are more open to different colours and styles too.

Ideal for a wide range of framing needs other popular collections were the stunning Infinity Collection and classic Old Masters Collections these are perfect for framing mirrors and blends beautifully with many different styles of artwork, from impressionist art to landscapes and bold abstracts. The width of mouldings in these collections range from 11mm to 116mm.

As we all know trends fade out and new ones will arrive over the next 12 months so we are hoping to announce shortly some new mouldings that we feel will define 2010.

JOHN KEATSedited with an introduction by Miriam Chalk This book gathers the most potent passages from Keats together, including the famous ‘Odes’, the sonnets, the luxuriously sensuous ‘Eve of St Agnes’, the mysterious and atmospheric ‘La Belle Dame Sans Merci’, and extracts from ‘Lamia’, Endymion and Hyperion. British Poets Series. Bibliography and notes. John Keats is one of the few British poets who is truly ecstatic and wild. Despite the overly-ornate language, the often awkward phrases (‘made sweet moan’ in ‘La Belle Dame Sans Merci’), despite the Romantic indulgences and the sometimes sexist views, the often over-simplification of natural and human processes and experiences, and despite the tendency to gush and exaggerate, Keats is one of the few poets who write in English who is truly wild and shamanic. He is the British poet closest to the pure intoxication of Arthur Rimbaud. Keats reaches the pinnacle of British poetry, as W. Jackson Bate, typical among critics, says: ‘the language of his greatest poetry has always held an attraction; for there we reach, if only for a brief while, a high plateau where in mastery of phrase he has few equals in English poetry, and only one obvious superior.’ Like Arthur Rimbaud, and like the poet he is most compared with, Percy Shelley, Keats burnt fiercely and died young. He is a poet as martyr and hero, a Vincent van Gogh of poesie. He is famous for his sensual odes – ‘Ode to a Grecian Urn’, ‘Ode to Melancholy’, ‘To Autumn’, ‘Ode to Psyche’ and ‘Ode to a Nightingale’ – the poems Lamia, Endymion and Hyperion, the luxuriant ‘The Eve of St Agnes’, a group of sonnets, and the strange, haunting fairy tale poem ‘La Belle Dame Sans Merci. John Keats is a typical Romantic poet: he used pagan imagery; he employs much ancient Greek mythology; he is a shamanic poet, who writes in feverish bouts; he is a ‘poet’s poet’; he wrote searing short poems, and attempted long, epic sequences; he revered the right

Hip Hotels: France

It’s no surprise that France ranks among the world’s most popular tourist destinations. This large and sparsely populated country has it all—a fascinating historical legacy, a gastronomic culture that is unsurpassed, and a tradition of good living that remains remarkably unaltered by the stresses of modern life. And France’s scenery is spectacular, with mountains and marshlands, gorges and rolling countryside, and a coastline ranging from the rugged shores of Brittany to the benign and jewel-bright playgrounds of the Mediterranean. All this, naturally enough, means there is an unparalleled choice of world-class places to stay: medieval châteaux, rural farmhouses, alpine chalets, grand city hotels, and—of course—the very latest in interior design. Hip Hotels: France presents the traveler with the most authentically individual hotels that the country has to offer. Choose between the ornate style of colonial Indochina or the ultrachic pared-down touch of Christian Liaigre, a fisherman’s hut on the south Atlantic coast or the hip modernity of Le Corbusier’s Unité d’Habitation in Marseille, long a Mecca for devotees of modernist architecture and now partially converted into a hotel. Some hotels are established, some virtually unknown, but every one is a unique response to the geography, culinary culture, and design heritage of its particular location. So whether you are an adventurer, a gourmet, or a design aficionado, this third volume in the phenomenally successful Hip Hotels series is guaranteed to lure you away to explore every corner of France. 387 color and 151 b/w photographs.Author Biography: Herbert Ypma is the founder of the award-winning magazine Interior Architecture and creator of the World Design series. His other books in the Hips Hotels series include Hips Hotels: City and Hip Hotels: Escape.
